Nope you shouldn't upgrade..downgrade to 1.5 instead if you have 2.60 and below, even the ta psp can be downgraded. The links to downgrade is in the stickies.

what is the current fw if u have ta-082 and above psp v2.5 then upgrade and if the normal mobo and it is above 2.60 then also upgrade
