i cant backup Ghost in the Shell SAC for ps2 i keep getting to 20% with DVD Decrypter and a error keeps popping up i also used cloneCD dvd iso ripper feature i have the newest version of this could it be my original?

You mean you get the errors when ripping? if so check the condition of the original disc for dirt/dust/scratches and give it a good clean.. then try again.
If it still won't work.. then you'll have to use ISO buster or apache3 to rip the game files instead of an ISO and then rebuild the game..
