stream writing error with tmpgenc

Hi, I tried to convert an avi file to svcd, using dvd2svcd with tmpg as encoder. But everytime I get a "stream writing error". I've already checked the forum, but found no answer, and I've also checked the FAQ from the tmpgenc homepage. The answer I find there is that I don't have enough hard drive space. That's impossible, because I've still got 20 GB free HD space. In advance thanks for the help.

hmmm that is pretty strange! could you try to encode using just TMPGEnc? to see if it gives the same errors, it sounds like DVD2SVCD isnt loading its template properly!

Thank you, the encoding using just TMPGEnc worked. But now there's just one thing. How can I add permanent subtitles without using DVD2SVCD? Can I do this with TMPGEnc, or do I have to use something else?
