I am trying to connect my PC to my TV so that I can watch movies using my computer, my PS2 is no longer playing them properly due to a worn laser...

So this is what i have...
a Sapphire ATI Radeon x600 Pro 128mb video card... and i am trying to connect using the S-Video output... problem is that when i move the WMP onto the TV and select fullscreen i get a black screen on my TV and the video starts to play on the top left part of my computers monitor, and i have a new tab in my taskbar that says ActiveMovie Window... how is it that i use video mode or get this working properly?? thanks!

i would like to play the movie on my TV and have my monitor available to do whatever else i would like to do...

If you are using windows XP, you need to go into the video card advanced settings and set the TV as the primary display. Otherwise windows will appear on the tv but anything you play in WMP will be blank (it will still display on your TV monitor)
