just woundering if it matters if i use a +R or +RW my friend wanted me to backup his games but he bought DVD+RW insted of +R and he lost the reciete so we cant take em back. will ps2 with the latest swap magic read +RW? btw i book type em DVD-ROM also... srry if this is in the wrong forum it sayed ps2 dvd backup....

Do not use rw as they will burn out your laser faster than anything else. It doesn't matter what Brand it is, just don't use them for ps2 games.

bump....though you can use +RWs to play PS2 games it is strongly advised not to because they will stuff you lazer up

the reflectivity of rw discs is very low, which means your ps2 has to try REALLY hard to read them.

THX should i just use Verbatim DVD-R's then as for the +RW's then shoudl i just trash em cant use em for movies eather?
