The only game that i want being released for the Wii is Red Steel, the other cool games like Super Mario Galaxy, WarioWare, and Super Smash Bros i just recently found out that they werent launch titles. Does anyone know when those games will be released? Best Buy says 11/03 and 11/17 but i dont want to pre-order until i know when it will be released

Check out www.gamespot.com and look up the games, if there is any news on them it will doubtless be there.

Super Mario Galaxy has a tentative release date of "Q1, 2007". January up to April. But knowing how Nintendo release dates are, count on it being released in June. ;-)
I just found another quote that says "Within the first 6 months of the Wii launch."
Wario ware is also expected to be q1, 2007.
And again, a secondary quote has it pegged within the first 3 months of the Wii launch.
And after Smash Bros was pushed back from a promised launch title, so far all I could find was just "sometime next year".
But smash bros is awesome. I'm not too angry, because I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

thankx oofRome, i guess im stickin with Red Steel and Wii Sports for the launch. I'll save a hundred for Smash Bros(i basically grew up on that) and WarioWare. I wish the Wii released stronger titles but hopefully red steel will keep me occupied till the bigger games come out.

Actually, the Wii has a pretty strong launch lineup. You seem to like a large range of genres (ret steel to warioware to smash bros). I'm sure there is something in the launch window that might spark your interest.

i'm really strained on money, so if I even get a Wii, the only game I would probably buy would be red steel or Metroid 3 and then just try and save my money to get more games.
and you're right. DBZ has been delayed. maybe they wanted to add wifi multiplayer on it, which would make sense for the game to come out in early 2007

I'll definately be getting Wii Sports and Zelda: TP on launch day, another game I've been watching is Rayman Raving Rabbids, which is starting to look very appealing to me. I like the artistic style and quirky comedy.
I'm also watching FFCC: Crystal Bearers and Trauma Center.. both sound like fun, but I want to see more from these games before I decide to put either on my list.
The list of launch titles is looking very strong, with big support from EA and Ubisoft.

Add Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon to that list as well.
