Back up of Swap Magic

I just received my new copy of Swap Magic, is there a way for me to create a back up of that disk so that I don't have to use the original to start up my PS2?

Please Advice?

even if you were able to make a backup of it, it'd be useless because you'd be using a backup to bootup backups and you can't do that.

that has always bugged me.we have all this software yet we cant make the ps2 read a disc without using swap magic?? crazy

we can have all the software in the world.. but they have made it possible to use modchips and DVDs to boot stuff, i think thats pretty good.. you would have to be a ps2 engineer in order to crack the firmware into playing backups without any form of boot method. also some people don't say anything if they can do it. because they know people would use it to play pirated games, thats why when the xbox 360 firmware hack was figured out they didn't want to release it, so figured out or not, theres people that are going to make money before releasing an easier way. MC exploit is probably the closest thing to booting without a modchip. but even if to make it u still would need swap magic or something like that.
