Hey People have you heard about the new GTA its coming out in October and its called GTA VI( i think ) Anyway previews are available from the Grand Theft Auto Site or YouTube.
* As a point of interest does anyone know what the new Need for Speed Game is? I heard I could get all the info off IGN.com!

YUP I LOOKED AROUND AND FOUND THAT APPARENTLY THE NEW GTA GAME WILL ONLY BE COMING OUT ON THE XBOX 360 AND PS3 - NOOO!
Can someone explain to me what the BIG deal is about GTA??? I mean fine GTA3 was great because it was inovative but every gta after that I didn't care much for. As far as upcoming releases go I'm not too excited about that many. samurai warriors 2, fifa 07, nhl games, justice league, FFXII are ones that may interest me and maybe scarface. Family guy might be interesting but I bet it'll be crap and most of those games don't come out till mid september to well into october. I love the winning eleven series but the North american version of the winning eleven which will be Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 isn't due out till january
i mean evryone has different oppinions i mean you may be saying that because you arent that bothered but i am a gta fan soo.. but hey ure oppinion is much appreciated
Ehm gta is THE BEST SELLING game for the ps2 (dont get me wrong it sold the most I'm not saying it is the best). Plus people like how you can do just about anything shoot people, steel and ride a car, fly a plane and so on. Plus the game is long and GTA did it the first (when saying "GTA did it the first" I mean that it was the original shooting ppl, stealing car type of thing or at least actually was a good game)
You mean Liberty city stories? If so I didint really like that game as much as the other GTA's. The main reason is because it's a port form the psp. But still better then the psp beause the camera angles were easy to control and there is rumble. And it is also very cheap like 20 dollars new.

I mentioned that in my post, that's what the word "innovative" pretty much means (at least to me it does). I didn't say the series is crap but, pretty much after GTA3 (which I liked) it was boring to me.
Also, after doing some searching I found that GT3 is actually the top selling ps2 game although (as of june 06), GTA:VC and GTA:SA are 2nd and 3rd so it's true that it is very popular but honestly didn't see the big hype after GTA3. To each his own, lets just drop the subject and stick to the topic at hand because my opinion will not be swayed and I doubt yours will either.

But GTA does get boring. But every time they release a new game they know a lot of people are going to buy there games. Besides everytime they make a new game it is not boring at first (or at list it dosent for me) because there is a lot of new things to look forward to but then after a while it get's boring.
