Working burnt DVD9 games

Is it possible to burn a DVD9 game and have it working on a modded PS2 perfectly, if so can anybody please tell me what the best program is for this. Also is DVD Decrypter and Nero any good. I heard that they r usless.

why didn't you edit your previos thread to include all this instead of making a new one? Depends on the mod you have you might need to patch the DVD9 image. DMS4 doesn't need patching, not sure about MI or Crystal chip but, for other mods you have to patch the image with the toxic dual layer patcher. dvddecrypter is a great program never had a problem with it, Nero is also good so I don't know where you've heard they're useless.

how about blue chip ?

I have MGS2 substance and Xenosaga 1 in DVD9 but i dunno whether they've been patched or not as i bought them overseas. They don't lag.
