Well...

I returned the Hp840e that I posted about. I forgot to mention that I has been getting an Internal Error after about 50% of my burns. And, it did not do a PIF scan.

Picked up a Lite on for $74.99. Seems ok. When I went to disk quality scan it says recored on Sony DW-Q30 YSOG. At 1st I was confused & then realized that it must have a sony drive.
1.)Is this good or bad?
2.)Can this intsall Rookit???

this is the SHW1635.

Anyone else have this drive? It is an older model made Sept 2005. The price was good, so I thought I would buy it. I know that the software is older comapred to the HP. The toolkit looks completely different then HP's. And older version of Cyberlink.

I was alomost going to get an I O Magic hoping I woould get a benq.

Well...hope I get a few answers.

Thanks again for all your help.
