I am on a network (Server 2003) with various client machines (some of Win2K, some on XP Pro).

When I am on the client machines (either Win2K or XP) and I try and burn a CD and/or DVD the burner will only show if I am logged in as an Administrator.

I am assuming that it has something to do with the 'privileges' within Active Directory but I have no idea what I need to do so that all users are able to burn CD's/DVD's.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Glenn

some programs require to be a administrator to use and some have that option to change so others can also use it. get on as administator and check options, preferences on that particular program hope that helps

That was exactly the problem!

Easy when you know how!

Many thanks
