When I play a ps1 game on my ps2 why doesnt it recognice the memory card? Is anyone else having this problem?

You need to use a PsOne memory card with a PsOne game. The PS2 mem cards are only for PS2 games.

you are lucky that you ps2 still read youre psone game because mine is having a really hard time to read my ps one games

mines reading originals + backups fairly well. All ps1 one games require the use of ps1 memory card. Also, some games(through experience) only uses the memory card port 1. I dont know why but they do, so if your ps1 memory card is on the 2nd controller second side, it wont work.
