This is the wireless card that I'm interested in from newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833156140

Will this be compatitle with my LinkSys Router? The wireless card isn't a Linksys, it's a TRENDnet. I wasn't sure whether the two were compatible together...

Any thoughts would be great or if you advise a better wireless card that is affordable that would also be great. Thanks

Out of the three which would you go with?

Linksys WPC54GR Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with Rangebooster

Linksys WPC54GX Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with SRX

Linksys WPC54G Wireless-G Notebook Adapter

Or would you recommend something better?

All 3 would do the job but before you buy check out the new standards that are coming out. Do a little googling because new things are out there.

Unless you have a loong distance problem or a lot of walls to go through the plain notebook adapter works fine. I have one in my notebook for when in the livingroom or bedroom or my wife uses for looking up recipes in the kitchen and it always says the strength is excellent. If you have a long way to go like wandering in the yard maybe the booster model would be more effienct.
