Hi, i have just bought championship manager 2006 and am wondering if anybody has any tips for me. I am going to be liverpool and like transfering lots of players in and out. Any tips at all will be great as i seem to lose all the time. I skip the matches for a quick result.
Anything from formations, players, training etc

I dont play this game but if you need to change training Im sure there is a section in the instruction book on how to do that. Dont skip the matches either as its best to make substitutions during the game, like if a player is tired etc.
Also you can change tactics during a match so that you might win a few!!

I am just skipping each match. I find that better and just swap players in the starting team

well thats why your losing so many matches and your players are unfit all the time. you need to make subs during a match and change the tactics so they dont play high tempo all match, every match

It gets a bit boring watching a match on champ manager. You cannot see the players like in lma, only dots.

Hey,
like people have said before wait for football manager 2007,
its by far the best manager game out!,
you say its gets boring because you cant see the players,
well if thats all your worried about why not just play a career on fifa 2006 or pro evo 5.
so anywayz yeah wait for football manager dont get lma (you'll be wasting your money)
and the good thing about football manager is you can into its data editor and give any team (for you liverpool no doubt) as bigger transfer budget as you need.
or even better, (well it kinda ruins the game) in data editor you can simply move a player from any team you want into any team of your choice.
you could put Henry, Ronaldinho, Adriano etc (anyone you wanted!) into liverpool and it would cost you absolutley nothing!

I have both football manager and champ man.
Footy manager is awsome, but champ manager is awful.
The people who used to make champ, 'sports interactive', now make football manager, and have take the whole format with them.
Footy manager is essentially a sequal of the old champ manager games (also awsome), whereas the champ is now a bag of s**t, made by people who have nothing to do with the previous versions.
ps ditto on the dont buy lma.
