Yeah i have a question. if backing up a game at 4x is really successful cause i just started doing that and it works great... how about at 2x???? wat will happend then. oh and yeah i need a mr know it all on all this back up stuff. if i can have ur msn messenger that would be great. thanks.

That's not entirely true. Burning 2x on a 8x disc is more likely to produce errors on the disc, making the ps2 game studder or not boot at all. It's suggested to burn at half the media's rated speed. I'd suggest you burn your games at half the DVD drives fastest speed. If you have a dvd drive that claims to burn at 16x, burn at 8x.
