I was wondering if theres a way to get a faceplat w/o removing the warenty like taking just the top screws and not the ones under the warenty label? also i would take the warrenty off but i have a 3 year plan with best buy so i dont want to waste it..any suggestions,main reson i wanna get a new face plate is cause mines is literally F*ck its scrated out

the only way is to take those screw out under the warranty sticker but the extended warranty at best buy will still cover it if you void the sony warranty. i thought the same exact thing but ya they will cover it. i took one of mine apart and they didnt even check for the warranty sticker.

wll if you slowly peel the warranty sticker off, and stick it to a piece of plastic so it remains sticky, then stick it back on :) and some of the screws have red paint on, so be really carful and slow while taking them out, the red paint flakes off, and thats another way how sony know about your warranty :)

ohh ok ,lol well thx for the info guys,ill take off the warenty but still do it slowly so the bestybuy pll wont have n e doubt,:) soon gunna be owner or a faceplat :p, :D
