Write Error problems! - Failed Burn Log

My burner had been working perfectly until recently but i'm now having a few problems. Seems to be a write error i am getting but i'm using good media (Verb - Metal Azo). Can anyone help? Here is my last failed burn log:

I'm pretty reluctant to update my firmware as i had serious problems when i did it last time.
Don't understand why the burner is not recognising the discs as i've done 20 odd burns previous to this failed one with the same discs?

That is strange. Are all the discs not recognized? Is this a new batch of what was working or out of same batch? Didn't see much else wrong with your log. But I'm not a pro at them. Maybe binkie7 or gwendolin will drop by. Your Nero is the best version. Verbs good media.

The discs are from the same batch?
I'll maybe give it another go, but i don't want to end up with too many coasters!!
