Hello, since xbins is gone, does anyone know of a bios that changes colors while booting up? I'm helping someone fix their box and the noob erased everything he had installing slayers. Thanks :)

xbins isn't gone. I even logged into their FTP server, just to make sure...

And what exactly do you want to change colors, anyway? The eject button LED or the Xbox flubber thingy?

Thanks for the reply. It's the flubber on startup. The son of a co-worker bought a modded box on ebay and he doesn't know what he has and erased his media player after installing slayers. I have no other discription other than several colors change on startup. I thought it might be something new since I wouldn't know, I've moved on to the 360.

As far as I know, the only way to change the color is by using a mod chip and setting it to do so in the mod chip's BIOS.

Try getting into the chip's settings screen and see what you can find. Also, some chips don't have menus (clones or chips sold with an illegal BIOS preloaded), so you may not be able to change it.
