Hi folks

Here's the deal. I have Star Wars on DVD, but I want to rip it and then play it on a DivX DVD player without the need for the boxset.
When I rip it it rips without subtitles so for instance, I can't tell what Jabba's saying the Episode VI.

Does anyone know how I can rip the DVD to render as an AVI file and keep the subtitles just for the non-English speaker characters like Jabba and Greedo?

I know you can have say a .txt file and in a PC it'll read the subtitles. But I need them appear in a stand-alone DVD player.

I do own the DVD and it's just for personal use. I hope you know what I mean...

wow...i have this exact same problem...with the star wars movies and all. my problem is wanting to put them on my ipod...but being able to watch them on my cpu would be a plus too. any help here would be hot!
