NCAA 07 not booting up

Rented NCAA 07.I have a soft mod xbox.It recognizes that it is a game and starts to boot up and then it goes back to the menu screen.Only having this problem with two games out of all of them.

Well, is the game in good condition? Even though it's new, someone else might've done damage to it already. Scratches, dirty, etc. Try cleaning the game and your lens, and try again.

If that doesn't work, try turning off in game reset and see if it makes a difference.

Yeah,It has no scratches on it and I used my repair/cleaner on it and it still wont boot.I have the same problem with The Hobbit also.

i got the same problem it seems to be the mod .. are you starting the game from the menu?? or are you starting from a cold boot???
if your starting form the menu try puting in the disk ( if you have the game on disk - if your useing burnt disk--) completly shut off the xbox and restart it should work (but you cant use trainers or anything like that i dont know what to do if you just have it on the hard drive
