Ya i was trying to get Spellforce 2 to work and i read on other sites that Curerom works, but i cant get it to work and i cant find any instructions on how to do it correct im just winging it. With Daemon Tools im able to use a No-CD crack and i get it to work but it goes to a Black Screen i can hear the music in the Background. This also happened to me when i tried playing some starwars game (the strategy game cant remember the name to it) and when it instructionsthen the black screen on the Starwars game i thought it was a video card issue i just said the hell with it. but now i have recently updated my computer and more the meet the required Requirements, so im pretty sure its not my video card. im looking all over the net for something on how to fix this but cant find anything. any ideas would be appreciated.

I had that problem with starforce 2. If you are using a crack then you dont need to mount the game anyway. This is a known issue with starforce. It has to do with the resoltuion and frame raite of your monitor. Your frame rate might be too high on your monitor to display the game. They told me to download this program and that should fix it but it did not. I did get it to work myself no thanks to the help. I went upstairs and got my old 19 inch heavy bulky monitor. I plugged it into my computer and the game booted up. Then I switched to my 21 inch lcd and it has worked good ever since.
im not sure curerom would work. It doesnt even use securRom as a protection. The Eurpoe version uses StarForce and the Us versin uses some protection called tags.

Then probably the game resolution is set higher than what your monitor can display it at. You probably have to go edit the config file and lower and lower the resolution.

My monitor played every single game so far that I got but Spellforce 2. Including Oblivion. I would do what DDP suggest it worked the best for me. Ever since then the game has booted up fine.
