this all started because I keep getting a blackscreen in TMPGEnc.

I always understood that if I capture video from my minidv camera, using premier or premier pro, the video is saved as an AVI. Now when I open that video using G-spot it says that i need a dvsd codec and that it is NOT installed. but yet, i open it using windows media player and see it fine. what gives?

I installed the klite pack, but still have this problem, I even chose mainconcept during the installation. any help?
