G6 Lite Help needed!

Ok so I got my G6 Lite this morning and have tried to get it working. Only one problem: I have plugged the USB thingy in and get a drive on my computer called Removable Disk(G:) but when I double click it it says "Please insert a disc into drive G:"
I thought it was meant to open and have a few folders in there? I have tried dragging and dropping the g6loader and g6verify files onto the drive but the message comes up again.
Can anyone help?

The first time you plugged the USB device into your computer was the G6 attched to it?

If not Windows has probably not installed the drivers correctly, You are going to have to go into the device managaer and remove the drivers, then try again.
