CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK DATA ERROR - HELP

ok here goes. i tried to copy one of my games(prey) onto a blank DVDR using Nero, it didnt work for some reason. i went to my computer, right clicked the disk & open. i copied & pasted the files & folders from there to a new folder on my desktop called prey. i then used FOLDER2ISO & turned it into a iso file. i then burned it to a DVDR using Nero burning rom. im using nero7 ultra edition. the game is on the disk, & it half installs until i recieve an error: feature transfer error, feature: newfeature1. component: newcompnent1. file: D:\setup\data\base\pak001.pk4. error: data error (cyclic redundancy check). does anyone know what ive done wrong? is there an easier way to copy my game using Nero? also, when i right click the newly burned disk & open it, all the files from the original disk are present & both disks are the same size.. i would really appreciate some help here as i want to keep my original disks in good condition. that way if i want to play the game i just put in the DVDR.. thanks

crc errors are caused by the burner unable to read the disc check to make sure your firmware for your burner is up to date also check your original disc is it clean no scratches no fingerprints

post your failed Nero log and we can have a look for the problem
you don't say which version of Nero you are using 6 or 7 so have shown where you can find both logs

Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt
