Hi, just incase this is in the wrong topic, I apologize in advance. I'm having a bit of trouble burning Sonic Riders onto the DVD. The file contains two different file types HDN-SRR.BIN and HDN-SRR.CUE. Also, I'm not very sure what version of MOD Chip I currently have, but I so far all games I've backed-up have worked with no problems at all. I'm pretty sure that when I burn the game onto DVD it's not the correct format to work for the PS2. I've checked other games I have that were copied and they have similar folders and files, this one does not. But back to the problem, after using MagicISO to change HDN-SRR.BIN to ISO format it burns but does not work on the PS2. I've tried burning the HDN-SRR.BIN onto the DVD but I get this message:

---------------------------
DVD Decrypter
---------------------------
Your image doesn't appear to be of the correct format for burning onto a DVD.

Image format: MODE2/FORM1/2352
DVD format: MODE1/2048

Would you like to continue anyway?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------

I can still continue but, the PS2 cannot read the DVD. I'm still a bit new to this so I'm still trying to figure out how this all works in my spare time. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation.

EDIT: Sorry, accidentally put Swap Magic instead of MOD Chip.
I'm not sure what version of MOD Chip I have but I had it installed in the Philippines in Dec. 30, 2004. So far all games have worked, same goes for playing DVDs and Import Games. My only problem with the MOD Chip is that it dosen't work for a little while after playing an Original PS2 game/DVD or if I don't use it for a period of time.

bin is usually a format for CD images that is most likely your problem. Burn it to cd and it should work.

NTSC DNAS threads.

Problem is that it's just to big to fit on a 700MB CD.
I tried using multiple Guides on burning PS2 CD-R Games to PS2 DVD.
So far,I've gotten to the part where the PS2 Logo shows (it flashes on and off faster than usual) and it stops working to that point. I've tried using other Methods but same results.

I used IsoBuster, DVDScan3.7 and Nero BurningROM SE (has the same options avaiable/similar to the Guides intructions/pictures).

EDIT: The logo shows now, but freezes afterwards. I've gone through 7DVDs so far (...thankfully I have 3 100 4.7GB DVD Packs...).

Also here's what I chose/enabled for the options for the ISO section.
File System: ISO 9660 + Joliet
File name length (ISO): Max. of 11 8 + 3 chars (level 1)
Character Set (ISO): ISO 9660 (standard ISO CD-ROM)

Relax restrictions ((Note: [x] = checked, [ ] = unchecked))
[x] Allow path depth of more than 8 directories
[x] Allow more than 255 characters in path
[ ] Do not add the ':1'ISO file version extention
[x] Allow more than 64 characters for Joliet names

the bin can be bigger than 700mb (as long as it's not too much bigger than 700mb). You could try cdrwin to burn it (it's the best burning for bin)
