When my wireless connection is enabled, i lose my Local area connection 7 broadband internet, even though it sais connected.
So i have to disable my wireless connection to be able to use my PC's internet. Why? there both connected, why do i get "page cannot be displayed"

also Ive noticed you have you lan and wifi running at once, try disabling the lan and just using your wifi. that helps internal ip conflicts

you forgot linksys fanghi. linksys is undoutbedly one of the best. ease of use and how well theyre products work. if u can get the right version of the wrt54g wireless router they make hacked firmwares for it that can extend signal range by 300%. I havent done this to mine yet but i live in a two story house. my router is upstairs and i can play my psp in the farthest-downstairs room in the house.

http://www.sveasoft.com is one of the places to get it. but there is quite a few hacked firmwares for the linksys wireless routers. i usually google "hacked firmwares for linksys" and it yields quite a bit of sites.

Oooh, well i have gotten to like wifi max now, buying a new router would be my last option atm, but someone said try disabling the LAN connection, if i do that, Wifi max doesnt work, because it needs broadband to give out a signal you see.
and also what is ds?
that list above has
PC
PSP
ds?

I have actually considered getting a wireless router, preferbly netgear because one from ebay is cheaper than wifi max lol.
can i just ask a few things about a wireless router.
*Does a wireless router conflict with a LAN connection, so basically isit possible to have a wireless connection and a LAN connection, connected at one time without any problems, because i only need this for my PSP.
*Does the PC need to be switched on for a signal to be sent out?
*with wifi max, i can turn it into an access point, or a station, would i be able to do this with a wireless router?

the wireless router will not conflict with your LAN. the pc doesnt need to be on for the signal to be sent out because it uses the signal from the modem? do you have hispeed internet.
