Hi when i checked my psp mobo, it had both 1C6001 (left side) and 1C1003 (right side). I would just like to know which version is it?

lets see..i got it the beggining of may 2006... its an H psp, so it started off as a 2.5 i guess. But then i had to update it into a lousy 2.71 (please forgive me)

well, you've probably got a TA-082 just because it has the IC1003 stamped on it....it's a littl odd that both are stamped but there have been some previous indications that some units have it, i wouldn't downgrade it if i were you. i'd probabaly trade it in, or check 0okms blogspot and see if he'ed guide you through the hardware downgrade.

goto a used store (EB Games or similar) buy a used one that doesn't have the IC1003 stamp on the mobo....then wait a couple days and then return your IC1003 to them, saying u bought that one, and changed ur mind.
if ur up to that??

i got the extended warranty at best buy and swapped mobos. but that was a bricked mobo for a working one. god i love best buy.

what if you can see nothing on the motherboard, i mean there is no numbers and letters on both sides...
my psp haven't got any numb and letters on the back and version was 2.60 when i bought it and its PSP-1003...
what can you tell me about that???

i think sony are making psps without numbers so we cant tell. (not sure) and 1003 is a newer one. mine is 1001 and its 1.5. i dont you can downgrade thou but im not sure wait for a TA-082 to come buy and see what model number he has.

i dont no about the versions..ive got another psp with PSP 1003 and that not a TA-082 so.... i think you'll be safe. but if you have the ic003 number is very strange.

again, psp-1001 1003 1002 1004 are regions. ic1003 is mobo.
psp-1001 (and so on) are on the bottom of the psp on the silver thing.
