Hey guys - I just bought a PSP and it has the 2.60 firmware. Is there any way to download games and use them with this firmware?

I have not been able to get any downloads to work. Thank you for your help!

you have to use the eloader to run homebrew on 2.6 but not all homebrew will work. you can upgrade your psp to 2.71 and then downgrade to 1.5 to take full advantage of homebrew. first you need to check and see if you have a ta-082 psp. check this link out if you do not have one then youre in the clear.

that means you are not able to downgrade. although u can still run some homebrew. this is a link to the eloader porter. it allows you to play homebrew on your 2.6 psp. make sure to check out the readme on how to properly install the homebrew on it.

yeah 00km supposedly is. i dont know if its true or wat but i guess he will walk you through a ta-082 downgrade on his blogspot because i guess it takes like 45 mins or something like that. but thats about all ive heard in the past week or so. i also dont know where his blogspot his located either.
