Has anyone else had this problem? All my psx backups seem to have the buttons on autofire, i've tried 2 different burners on my pc and still getting the same results.

I found a rather risky "solution" to the problem (I assume you have a fliptop or a slimline PSTwo). Insert the breaker pro disk and turn power on. Quickly swap the breaker pro disk with your backup during the black screen BEFORE the PSX logo. It worked for me, but it can burn out the motor of your disk drive quickly. (Credit to jigoku for posting this idea in another thread). Only use this if you are desperate.

Anyways, I'm downloading a gameshark iso for PSX and I'm gonna see if I can load breaker pro normally, then load the gameshark, then load a backup to bypass this problem.

In other words, it seems to me that the breaker pro is the problem itself (At least in this case.)

EDIT: Using the Breaker pro + Gameshark iso + Backup method in Castlevania SOTN booted the game fine, except for the fact that Richter couldn't run (Got stuck in place when I tried) and he couldn't do his super high jump (Gets stuck as well). On a side note, in the hallway leading up to Dracula (At the beginning), isn't there supposed to be a staircase that comes down from the ceiling? Sometimes it is there and sometimes it isn't.... hmm

Could I have the link to the place where you're downloading the gameshark?

No, cos that'd be against forum rules.

You want it that badly, then Google for it.
