Ok, I have cleaned my drive, a Sony DRU-710 DVD Burner, installed a earlier version of Nero 6.6.018(7.5.02 was buggy beyond belief for me), and still get an error.
My DVD drive finally recognizes my media(Sony DVD+R 1-16X)
Here is my log file:

Now my media hasn't ever given me a problem before(again Sony DVD+R 1-16x), and burning data at 12x has never produced errors either.
So I'm at a loss.....

I can only see 2 things in this log
Quote: Physical memory : 255MB (261616kB)
Free physical memory: 141MB (144840kB)
Memory in use : 44 %
To successfully burn DVDs it is recommended to have a minimum of 512 mb RAM, suggest you add a further 256mb
Quote: Burn process failed at 12x (16,620 KB/s)

With computers anything is posible. When media "codes out" at SONY as media ID its second class media. I have a spindle of them (giving to me as a BD gift last year). Try Ty's or Verbatim (my fav.). And your DMA is off try here to put it make on.....http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
