I heard that this was the best media player out, so I downloaded it. Initially, all of my videos played well, until I came across this one media that had embedded subtitles, and MPC couldn't play them, neither could it play the few subitles that I downloaded. Is there a codec or something that I can get for the player to be able to play the subtitles?

The internal subtitle renderer requires VMR7/9 or Haali's renderer to work.
