got 1.5, hw to emulate higher version or play real umd discs?

hey
i have just bought a psp, version 1.5
with device hooker 0.22
and i have a few iso games

but i also bought a real game
King Kong

and it will not let me play it unless i uprade the version of the psp

i have heard that you can use the version 1.5 and some how emulate a newer version like 2.6 , which allows you to play the real umd, and also use its features lik browser and all that

could you pease get back to me, ASAP

or jus respond on here, all your help is very much appreciated

Get the latest version of Dev Hook

Use that to "emulate" your firmware. That will let you play your UMD's and Iso.'s

Remove the two old folders from psp/game and then put in the new folders.
