whenever i try to do the remix with dynasty warriors 3 i put in the dynasty warriors 3 disc and it works fine. when it says put in dynasty warriors 3 xtreme legends disc it doesnt work. can you do th remix with a backup copy of dynasty warriors 3 xtreme legends

If at any point you need to press the disc eject button on the PS2, then no.

Depends on the modchip. If its a decent one, then you should be fine.
Maybe you just need to update your chip's firmware?
