I installed the latest version of FFDShow and I noticed this (strange) behaviour: the first time I play any kind (DivX,XviD,mpeg) of file with any kind of player, everything is ok, but if I stop the playback and restart the player, the fps rate goes down to 2 (from 25 or 33...). The only way to solve this problem is to restart the pc.
I tried the codecs from XviD.org and I didn't notice this problem anymore.

Any idea ?

P.S. For a lot of reasons I have to use FFDShow.

PC specs:
win2k sp1
latest nvidia driver
nvidia geforce fx 5200 128 mb
1 Gb ram
amd sempron 2.6 ghz
