Hu guys i know this question has probably been asked many times before but through searching the forums i can't fins any solution to my problem.

my friend bought a anime boxset in hong kong with cantonese and japanese audio with chinease subtitles. So i borrowed it off him trying to create my own set taking out the catonese track and subtitle leaving me with the japanese track and inserting my own subtitles. All this went to plan until it came to playing in back on the dvd. The video stutters if you get me, the picture isn't smooth. The audio is in sync but the video is the problem. the dvd source is not split into episodes its just one big title which is 3 hours, i want to strip each episode which i had done by ripping the dvd with a normal ripper and then using VobSub to aplit each episode. for some reason though when i actually finish re-encoding it back to dvd the video just stutters.

so to sum up i have one large file that i need to rip, once i rip it i strip it using VobSub, once thats done i encode it back to dvd with TMPEG 3.0 and then burn to dvd. My problem is that when all of this is done the video jitters which doesn't help when your anime contains alot of action. Could be a framerate issue? Any help would be great
