i have been watchng halo montages and i love them and i was wondering were and how do i get a chip for that i have the X3 modchip in my xbox with the Evox dash if that has anything to do with it and can u tell me the cheapest but good one and were to get it at

Are you looking to record the screen? If so, you need to get a capture card.

Indeed. They aren't recording them on the Xbox itself, but on their PC by connecting the AV output to a capture card. Keep in mind that you don't need a full blown video card.
