Madden 07 loading slow with patched DN@S

I just started online gaming so I went and patched Madden 07 and reburned it. Well it loads really slow and got stuck all together when it was loading an online game to play. I have been playing my non online backup for weeks with no problems and good loading.

So is this a know problem or is it maybe just a bad burn? I would appreciate an anwser before I go wasting more discs. Thanks.

Ok iI burned it at 4X with Memorex 16X DVD-R. The offline burn is a really cheap Philips 8X DVD-R so go figure.

Ok you need to burn at 8x on 16x discs. Now your using crappy media also, you need to use better media, cuz problems like this will keep happening and could also strain you laser use crap for media. So use taiyo yuden, verbatim, or sony.

Patching the iso with a Disc ID has nothing to do with slow loading times. That's due to a bad burn, or bad burn speed, or bad media.

People keep saying "burn at half the speed of what the media is rated" but, I don't think burning 16X media at 4X would fuck things up and yes I have tested this or I wouldn't be saying anything (it's less then half so technically it should be even better). Now media quality on the other hand has a lot to do with it and memorex seems to be one of the crapiest media for ps2 although a friend of mine seems to love them for everything else.

Thanks for info. I'm gonna try it at 8X and if that don't work I'm gonna rebuild it.

I don't know if I beleive these Memorex DVD's are any cheaper than the Philips ones I got. Those were so crappy that my DVD player had some trouble with them but oddly my PS2 did pretty good.

On another note is it just me is Madden online a disaster? I have played 3 gam,es so far and everytime the other guy does a couple 80 yard TD passes it disconects. I wonder if this is cheating or if I have a ethernet wire issue. Does it matter if the wire is kinda pinched because I had to put it through a window and then I closed the window?

You know what you were all right this media BLOWS. I have burned like 10 disks already and they just suck. It only lets me burn at 4X even though they lie and say 16X. I knew these were trouble the second I opened them and there was a card about how you needed to update firmware.

I'm gonna see about returning this crap.
