I've had nothing but success with them, including the double-layers, but why take the chance? Verbatim and Made-in-Japan media are considered the best, and are available for about the same price. I get 8x TYG02 from supermediastore.com for $31 per 100 with free shipping, and if that's too much you can get valueline for about what you would pay for those Fujis.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Go and look and see if those Fujis are Made In japan, if they are i would snatch them up, if not would not get them and just get some verbatims.

yeah its on the box.

and if you need them fast, i say go ahead. they arent that bad! and i really dont get why people go as far to say "I have no luck with them" because in this day and age of DVD technonogy you have got to have serious bad luck if you get any brand that just plaintly 50/50 coaster...

peace

I was out of DLs and Fuji's happened to be on sale so I bought a 10-pack . They code out as "Ritek D01". About 20% won't work in the Playstation or my little portable player. But work fine in the cheap DVD players. The 'Verbs' play in all our various players! For me... It's 'Verbs' or bust.
