Storing Originals / Backup's of Originals

Right now I have my Originals stored in the paper sleeves that they came with.

My question is how should I store my Originals, and then I plan on backing up each original 1 time and storing a backup. And I will use the backup instead of the originals.

So should I store my originals in slim cases and the backups in a binder, or flip that or what exactly..

So how should I store my originals and backup's?

i have all of my originals stored in the top of a closet in their original cover. i then have bought the slim covers to put the backups in. the backups are the ones i watch and the originals are put up so sticky little fingers cannot mess with them. then if i ever need another back up i can go to the closet and get it. that is my way, i am sure everybody has their own way. do what you want. whatever works best for you.

Obviously originals should be stored in the case they came in, or failing that, a binder couldn't hurt. I keep my backups stored vertically in a large binders which are near the floor because as we know, hot air rises so the cooler air remains close to the floor. Gotta keep the backups in cool, consistant temperatures to prevent warping.

i agreee with the fact of storing in a cool place. i did however fail to mention that in my closet i have a very small A/C vent in this closet because i store other things in this closet.
