1-) Is it legal to burn a game when you buy the original DVD?

2-) Is it legal to sell an original DVD and provide the backup with it?

I?m asking because I would like to import PAL games to Canada and sell French versions to some acquaintances. And given that PAL games don?t work with Swap Magic without being correctly patched on a DVD+R, I thought it was the only possibility to stay legal and distribute the games here.

But since law is complex, I prefer to ask.
