My DVD Burner works on about 90% of the games i own, but i just bought brand new copies of yakuza, lego star wars II, and ghost recon advanced warfighter, and everytime i try to read them with DVD Decrypter, it says either medium not present, or occasionally it will come up as disc is empty, when clearly they aren't. I have back-ups of at least 20 games already and am doing nothing differently. Tried updating my firmware, and still nothing, not sure what else is left to do but give up. Any ideas?

Sounds to me that either you haven't got it in ISO read mode or something is taking over the DVD before DVD Decrypter can get to it.. most likely the autorun feature of windows..

go into "my computer" right click the dvd drive and select properties.. go to the autorun tab and disable autorun feature for all file types.. see if that helps.. or re-install DVD Decrypter etc.

yea, i tried turning autoplay off and reinstalling DVD Decrypter, but i think the problem is the computer itself, trying to detect which type of medium the disc is, because even with autoplay off, you can see the "Busy light" on the dvd drive working for 15-20 minutes still then when it finishes i try to open the disc and it comes up as a blank disc, probably need to replace the dvd burner.

Hmmm weird.. you don't have Nero INCD installed do you?

Try this (if you haven't already) -

Start DVD Decrypter first, make sure it's in ISO read mode and set to the correct drive.. then pop in the DVD, DVD Decrypter should then get hold of the DVD first.
Also, make sure you have no other DVD/video things running in the background... could be a conflict there somewhere maybe.

I'm having a problem ripping DVDs using DVD Decrypter. Everything is installed correctly but when I burn the DVD the LED of my drive is not lighting. Once DVD Shrink completes, it begins again and the LED still isn't blinking. Can anyone help?

I was using DVD Shrink to copy a DVD.
I didn't wait long enough for the encoding process to complete and DVD Decryptor to do its' thing. Thanks
