DVD_Shrink will make your disc Region-free.

What's the name of the movie?
Try using RipIt4me.

Hi cowboyblk
Region 2 is in PAL format so if your dvd doesn't play this format (some do but sounds like yours doesn't) then you need to convert it to NTSC format.

The programs you are using make it region free but don't change the format. So you can use the VobBlanker (free)'patch' method for that - works for most dvd players.
Here's a link:

To use the search in the forum - just be in the forum section click search and you'll will get an option to use the 'traditional' search.

No problemo cowboyblk :)
Give it a shot & lets us now how it goes - only takes about 5-10 mins to process thru VobBlanker.

If doesn't work for that player & you have Nero - can use version to convert.

edited to add: oops - meant Nero Vision :)

You're very welcome :)
Glad to hear it worked out. Works with most dvd players and very easy to do.
One downside is not being able to do the menus - there's a way I think I just never looked into.
