Hello All,
Thank you to who ever veiws and respondes to this post. First off, I use an external NEC DVD/CD R-RW see specs in signiture. I bought the computer from DELL about 2-3 years ago and the thing worked perfectly for about 1 year. Then all of a suddent when I shut down my PC and start it up the usb icon appears in the taskbar for about 2 minutes and then the green arrow thing. When at first it was just the little green arrow. Well my dvd burning has went from 30-45 min to 1hr 15min to 1hr 45min. My PC is 2.0 compliant is there anything I can do to find out the problem.

hello.
try to get updated drivers for your mother board from dell or manufacturer if it work fine 2 or 3 years a go i should unless something is wron with your motherboard or operating system
