i have many tools for bios editing i have 2 xboxes one softmod one X2 chip mod im trying to change the led color and boot animation color i have no clue where to start HELP!!

I don't think you can change teh boot animation on a soft modded Xbox, but on the X2 boot to the X2 BIOS menu and you can change it from there.

To change the LED on either of them, just go into your dashboard's settings and select it from there.

ok then i guess the only thing i need now is how do i extract the bios from the xbox and how do i put it back

I messed up... Apparently, only the X2.6CE had a built in menu, and the older X2s don't. Sorry about that. I have no idea how you would change it without the menu.

i think a programme called xbtool might help you, it lets you change the led colour and patch bios etc. go to xbox scene to download it.

Try holding the white button while booting up the Xbox.
