yeah like what the title says, psp lcd turns off when i put umd and close the umd drive. searched the net but i think this is a rare case.
i did open the psp to see whats wrong with the sound because there's only sound through the headphones but psp still works fine, then after a few weeks it just did that, been just using the psp as a walkman with a hundred mp3's as my job allows it. but recently when i try to play then exit a game, the lcd turns off, even before i can choose the YES to exit a game. pressing athe proper button does exit the game then lcd lights up again in the XMB. this now really bugging me, i will try and update firmware to 2.0 then back down to 1.5 and see if the problem goes away.
any information about this problem is kindly appreaciated.
