I'm about to build a new gaming PC. The equipment I will be using so far includes:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (I want to overclock it to 3ghz)
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800mhz
XFX Geforce 7950GX2 1GB 520mhz
Sound Blaster X-FI Fatal1ty Series
WD Raptor 150GB 10,000rpm HD
Maxtor 250GB 7,200rpm HD
Dell 20.1" widescreen LCD

...a nice case and power supply, aftermarket CPU cooling, and probably XP MCE.

Now, my question to you guys, is should I go with the new nforce 590 motherboards that are supposedly coming out this week (according to this...http://www.excaliberpc.com/ASUS_P5N32-SLI_Premium_NVIDIA_nForce/P5N32-SLI_Premium_WiFi-AP/partinfo-id-569502.html)

I don't mind spending 300 on the mobo, but I'm worried about the space. It appears this mobo has a nice onboard soundcard, but I'll be using the Fatal1ty X-FI.

What I want is a mobo that can accomodate my proc (and allow me to overclock it to 3ghz), 2 7950GX2's, and my sound card, and perhaps even the physics board that came out recently (if it turns out it's needed for gaming in the future).

So if you guys have any suggestions, I'm listening. :)

wow! some pc youre building...

first i belive de e6600 core 2 duo runs fsb of 1066 remember for stability it is best to use rams and fsb ratio 1:1 (ram 1066 bus/cpu 1066 bus) specialy for overclocking!!.

one other thing thats a power draining beast you should get a really good power supply.. sli capable.
