Hi, I used the method that was described on 20 Oct 2004 to copy PS2 games but when I put the burnt game in my console it asks me to insert a PS2 FORMAT GAME. What is the problem and can you help.

Do you have a mod chip or are you using swap magic?

If it's none of the above, that could be your problem.

I think you just found your problem. PS2 doesn't play backups without modification.

you can buy a modchip that has to be solder into the playstation 2... like a microchip.. or you can use boot disc.. kinda like gameshark but able to play backups after the main screen has been loaded...

Who can instal mod chip, a computer store maybe(or is it illegal) and is boot shark the same as mod chip or is it something else
