is there a sequence to the beeps, or is it a contant beeeeeeeeeeeep? Your mobo is trying to tell you something is not right. Gop over all your connections to make sure they are plugged in fully, and definately check that your memory is seated properly.

What are your PC specs? Drives (and how many), memory, gfx card, PSU, etc. You may be short on power. Or the drive is toast.
