In need of some help!!!

I have backed up some dvd'd i have with my new pioneer 105 firmware 1.30, i have also been using bulkpaq x4 tangos.

I have burnt about 5 dvd's, when playing them back they do play but when getting upto chapter - 6 and above they skipp and then read as unreadable

i have treid various writing programs (dvd decrypter to rip) i think dvd decrypter is ok cause when i mount the image it plays all ok.

the writing programs i have use are the dvd decrypter, nero and record nowmax.

when checking the disks in nero cd speed it keeps producing an error :

Unrecovered read error (031100)

please could some tell me if the disks are the problem or somthing im doing.

i have orderd some datawrite ritek disks so if the drive is to blame i should shortly find out

please help if u can its driving me mad :(

First of the media you are using isnt very high quality, try using a better quality media like Ritek G04. Try using DVD Shrink to rip and compress:

Argh nice1 Oriphus thanx

i have got some datawrite go3 on the way
hopefully then this should sort my problem
just wanted to check cause i though it might be the writer

The Pioneers are very good, so i doubt its the writer. You shuld be pleased with the Riteks. I've been using a spindle of 25 Datawrite Yellows over the past 3 days and a lot of them freeze for a few seconds each chapter on specific DVD players, mainly older models.
