hi i have a japanese psp fw 2.6 is there a version of either of these programs that work with this version. i am scared of trying to downgrade cause i dont want to ruin it thanks in advance

What are you asking?
You shouldn't be affraid of downgrading. I have done it many times. Your PSP is not likely to brick, it will just be able to if you do anything wrong. Whatever downgrader you get, just read the directions CAREFULLY...AND ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

if your asking to use devhook or eloader then:
devhook has to be run on 1.5, so you have to downgrade risking your psp.

eloader is safer and can be run on 2.6, but is a lot less compatible with stuff.

i dont think there is a devhook that works with 2.6 I heard it does with eloader but I havent tested it myself. Besides the eloader only allows you to a small list of homebrews compared to everything on 1.5. If you change ur mind about downgrading the first thing you need to do is check to see if you have a ta-082 motherboard. here is a link just incase.

not many people use the 2.6 downgrader anymore due to that fact that you have to have an unpatched version of GTA:LCS. The 2.71 downgrader however does not require it.

Thank you i bought the godfather yessterday and had to upgrade so im worse off now than i was before im just ticked cause i downloaded an awesome game and cant play it i guess i'll wait until one of the programs is for 2.71 or whatever the heck i had to upgrade to
